Have You Earned Your Tomorrow

By Edgar Guest

Is anybody happier because you passed his way? Does anyone remember that you spoke to him today? This day is almost over, and its toiling time is through; Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?

Did you give a cheerful greeting to the friend who came along? Or a churlish sort of "Howdy" and then vanish in the throng? Were you selfish pure and simple as you rushed along the way, Or is someone mighty grateful for a deed you did today?

Can you say tonight, in parting with the day that's slipping fast, That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed? Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said; Does a man whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?

Did you waste the day, or lose it, was it well or sorely spent? Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent? As you close your eyes in slumber do you think that God would say, You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you did today?

A few years ago, Nintendo released their NES Classic, bringing back many of our classic favorites from the original Nintendo console. It became sold out within the blink of an eye.  Then last year, SNES Classic thankfully decided to bring back the Super Nintendo, allowing us to play Donkey Kong Country and Yoshi’s Island all over again. It was amazing, and now we want more.

In July of 2017, rumors went around that Nintendo may very well be creating a N64 Classic Edition.  Since then, we’ve all impatiently waited for months upon months. Although we’ve got our SNES Classics, we’re all anxiously waiting about what could possibly be coming, especially since we all known that N64 was the all time best console ever.

So while nothing is confirmed for sure, the rumors have returned with new information.  Nintendo has filed for trademark applications on the N64, which means things are going in the right direction. However, it most likely won’t look like the traditional device, it will probably be like the SNES, where it comes pre-loaded with all of the best games.

Our fingers are crossed that it will come out sooner than later and that it will include Super Mario 64,  Mario Kart 64,  Mario Party, Super Smash Bros,  Banjo Kazooie, Zelda,  Star, Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64 (at the very least).
