The model and lead singer of the rock band “Blondie” was born Angela Trimble on July 1, 1945, in Miami. She was given up as an infant. At the age of 3 months, she was adopted by Catherine and Richard Smith Henry, a couple from New Jersey, who renamed her Deborah Ann Harry. Harry learned about her adoption at age 4, and in the late 1980s decided to locate her birth mother, a concert pianist, who chose not to establish a relationship with her.
