The Baby-G watch brand is about to give us all a seriously heavy dosage of nostalgia. They’ve recently introduced a new Neo Retro Theme Series, which includes watches that look just like the clear plastic ones we had as kids. They come in translucent candy colors, and remind us of all the childhood goodness in the world from Game Boys to cassette tapes and Tamagotichis.
It’s the kind of watch we all used to beg our parents for back in grade school. But this time, you can actually afford it yourself. There are two different watches in the series, a blue or pink version. The blue comes with orange accents, while the pink is more of a Barbie shade with red accents.
Not only are they super fun to wear and look up, but they’re also highly functional. Each of the digital watches are water resistant (up to 200 meters), as well as shock resistant and come with a countdown timer.
