Behind The Scenes Of The New Aladdin
Laura Lee - December 23, 2018

By Shel Silverstein

My dad gave me one dollar bill
'Cause I'm his smartest son,
And I swapped it for two shiny quarters
'Cause two is more than one!

And then I took the quarters
And traded them to Lou
For three dimes -- I guess he didn't know
That three is more than two!

Just then, along came old blind Bates
And just 'cause he can't see
He gave me four nickels for my three dimes,
And four is more than three!

And then I took the nickels to Hiram Coombs
Down at the seed-feed store,
And the fool gave me five pennies for them,
And five is more than four!

And then I went and showed my dad,
And he got red in the cheeks
And closed his eyes and shook his head --
Too proud of me to speak!

We’ve all be anxiously waiting for long enough for the remake of the legendary Disney movie, Aladdin.  The cartoon will forever and always be one of the most beloved movies, and the fact that it’s going to be turned into something played by real humans is a little weird to be honest.

The trailer was first released awhile ago, with the only character we were able to see close up was Aladdin. We were left hanging as to what Jasmine, Genie, and the rest of the characters will look like. But now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we’ve gotten a more in depth look at the new movie!

Jasmine is as beautiful as ever, with the same color-scheme as the classic cartoon character.  When it comes to Aladdin, his red vest looks more like a camping one than the original purple one, but it will still do the trick.  And the genie, played by Will Smith, is of course not painted blue, but his jacket is still pretty epic.

For now, this is pretty much all the information we’ve got, so for now – we’ve just got to let our imaginations wander…
