Billie Eilish’s Cover of the Beatles’ ‘Yesterday’ At The Oscars
Marc Gordon - February 11, 2020

Billie Eilish performed at the 92nd Academy Awards with a sulky cover of the Beatles’ ‘Yesterday.’ The star performed the Paul McCartney track during the In Memoriam segment. Steven Spielberg introduced the singer-songwriter on stage with her brother and collaborator Finneas on piano. The In Memoriam montage played on the screen behind them, showing actors like Kirk Douglas, Doris Day, Peter Mayhew, and basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

Eilish recently became the second artist in Grammy history to win all of the Big Four awards in one night during last month’s Grammy Awards. Finneas also took home Producer of the Year for his worn on her debut albumĀ When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

In March, Eilish will continue her world tour in support of her debut album.
