Self-professed cake artist and flour child Leslie Vigil is good at what she does. Her edible creations deserve to be photographed and kept in a gallery of delicious pastries. Vigil endeavored to create a new collection called Tapestry Cakes. She used a cool technique in which she used icing as “stitches” to cover cakes with stylized flowers, symmetrical laurel leaf patterns, and little red hearts. The colorful cakes will make you think of Mexican folk dresses. Basically, Vigil has whipped up some deliciously beautiful creations you’re going to appreciate for sure. Bon appétit!
Vigil captioned this post: “Frida inspired embroidery + florals”. We love it! It’s decorated with peonies, roses, dahlias, ranunculus, and mums.
Vigil captioned this one: “I had the absolute honor of making a cake for boss babe Lauren Bozich of @whiteflowercakeshoppe! Humbling doesn’t even begin to describe! A big congratulations to the newlyweds Lauren and Pablo who couldn’t be any lovelier humans ????”
