Disney’s Rainbow Ice Cream
Claire Miles - July 24, 2018

By Shel Silverstein

My dad gave me one dollar bill
'Cause I'm his smartest son,
And I swapped it for two shiny quarters
'Cause two is more than one!

And then I took the quarters
And traded them to Lou
For three dimes -- I guess he didn't know
That three is more than two!

Just then, along came old blind Bates
And just 'cause he can't see
He gave me four nickels for my three dimes,
And four is more than three!

And then I took the nickels to Hiram Coombs
Down at the seed-feed store,
And the fool gave me five pennies for them,
And five is more than four!

And then I went and showed my dad,
And he got red in the cheeks
And closed his eyes and shook his head --
Too proud of me to speak!

We’re honestly not sure if this was made for eating, or was created as a piece of artwork that was perfectly Instagramable.

It’s shaved ice, soft serve, and candy, all together. As if all of these things weren’t amazing enough of their own.  This ultimate dessert is from Tokyo Disneyland and has got everything you could ever dream of.

Unfortunately, it’s only available for a month, but for a month every Summer, so if you miss it, there’s always next year! It’s offered during the Star Festival celebration, and it’s rainbow color is just as much of a treat for your eyes than it is for your taste buds.

The base of the treat is shaved ice with either blue jelly or peach, that tastes similar to a fruity soda. On top of the shaved flavored ice is creamy soft serve ice cream and rainbow colored candy balls.

If you can’t make it there, then at least you can drool over the thought of it.
