No matter your age, Disney movies remain an important part of our childhood. For years Disney has been creating whole new worlds (bet you just sang that in your head), inspiring us all to find magic in our lives. When you think Disney, you feel all the feels. Luckily, Disney has been busy keeping the nostalgia alive with their live-action remakes of all the classics. Here’s some of the upcoming Disney remakes you can expect.
Let’s get down to business! (We had to.) Mulan, everyone’s favorite warrior who just so happened to have saved all of China, is getting her very own live-action remake. Girl power for real, Mulan inspired girls that they can do anything they put their minds to. Expected release date is set for March 27, 2020.
Whenever you need to go from zero to hero, Hercules has got your back. Disney is going the distance (okay, we’re done, promise) with this remake. Expected release date is to be announced. We’ll be sitting here (im)patiently waiting.
Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase! No need to worry about the upcoming remake of The Lion
King. Star-studded with big names including Beyonce, Donald Glover and Seth Rogan, Disney
brought back James Earl Jones who played king Mufasa in the original. Expected release date is set for July 19, 2019.
The full definite list of all the upcoming Disney remakes includes Dumbo, Aladdin, Lady and the Tramp, Pinocchio, Oliver Twist, James and the Giant Peach, Peter Pan, Lilo and Stitch, The Little Mermaid, Snow White, The Sword in the Stone, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
