Ed Sheeran Is Taking a ‘Breather’ From Music And Social Media
Marc Gordon - December 25, 2019

The beloved singer Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be taking a break from music to “go out and see some more of the world.” Just two days after releasing a music video for his new song “Put It All on Me,” Ed Sheeran went on Instagram to share the news with his fans and followers.

“Hello all. Gonna go on another break again,” the singer wrote. “The Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see some more of the world.”

The well deserved brak comes after a hugely successful year for Sheeran in 2019. He scored his third number one album on the Billboard 200. He broke Billboard Boxscore records on his recent Divide Tour.

This is not the first time Sheeran has taken a break from the spotlight. Back in 2015 he announced that he would cut social media from his life for the near future. A year later he released his album Divide (÷),  which ended up as the most popular album of 2017, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

Well, we just hope Ed Sheeran and his wife enjoy their time! But we will all miss him dearly until he comes back (hopefully with a brand new album)!
