Sunburn is one of the most common skin conditions due to overexposure of the sun without proper skin protection. It happens when you do not use good quality sun protection. Sunburn can be recognized as reddish and heated skin that can actually itch. You should start with the treatment as soon as you notice the mark. If you do not this may lead to blisters that are filled with painful pus.

The first step to treat sunburn is to avoid sun exposure. Try avoiding sun exposure as much as you can. This will help in healing the affected area as soon as possible. Furthermore, you can also avoid exposing your skin to heated environments. This will help to avoid any red marks. Start by taking cool showers. This will help to cool down the skin. Another effective method is to pat dry the skin and let some moisture stay on it. Top off with a good moisturizer so that your skin stays calm. You should also try incorporating water into your diet. This will help your body’s hydro level to stay constant. Furthermore, water will help balance any heated mechanisms in your body.

You can also try home remedies such as applying honey on the skin to calm it down. Moreover, you can take a cotton swab and apply some apple cider vinegar. This will exfoliate the skin surface which will help the top year i.e., the burnt layer to dissolve. Avoid using products that contain benzocaine as they may cause an allergic reaction. Moreover, if your skin has blisters try resting for a while. Do not pop them as they may lead to painful spreading of the blisters. It is essential that you take extra care while exposing yourself to such skin environments as it can lead to skin cancer.
