How to Wear this Season’s Eye Popping Trend
Andrew Parker - April 3, 2019

Spring is around the corner and what better way to pop out from the crowd than to rock the latest fashion trends? This season’s fashion statement: the highlighter trend jump-started by Prada’s Linea Rossa relaunched at shows like Off-White and Marine Serre. Of course, on the streets, you’ll see fashionistas wearing electric pink pantsuits and other warehouse party looks. But if you are curious as to how you too can pull off this look, don’t worry because we have you covered.

We’ve dug up the metaphorical fashion dirt and found that there are two ways to pull off this bold style. Firstly, remember that a little goes a long way. Simply add a neon item to your normal everyday wear, like an electric green bag or a traffic-cone colored orange hat. If you match these eye-popping pieces with a more relaxed look, like a black dress or suit, then you’re OOTD game will definitely level up.

The other option is to straight up rock the highlighter neon hues! If you are not afraid of stepping into the limelight then go ahead and wear head-to-toe acid green, magenta, or electric blue! Why not? There is no better time to bring bright, loud color into your life than springtime.

Here are a couple of items that you can add to your spring wardrobe. They range in price, so whether you’re on a budget or just got paid the big bucks, you have options.

Van’s has a pair of Tie Dye Old Skool sneakers that come in ‘mysterioso/true white’ screaming color. We personally like the ‘Thermochrome Checker Old Skool’ in purple and magenta. They are retailed for $65.00.

A company called River Island has a gorgeous neon orange fisherman knit beanie hat. It was priced at 8 euros, but is now marked down to just 3 euros!

No fashion shopping list is complete without including Prada. Prada released a Nylon gabardine raincoat that retails for $1,700.

Happy spring shopping!
