The True Meaning Of Life

By Pat A. FlemingPublished: July 2017

The Years have passed by,
In the blink of an eye,
Moments of sadness,
And joy have flown by.

People I loved,
Have come and have gone,
But the world never stopped,
And we all carried on.

Life wasn't easy,
And the struggles were there,
Filled with times that it mattered,
Times I just didn't care.

I stood on my own,
And I still found my way,
Through some nights filled with tears,
And the dawn of new days.

And now with old age,
It's become very clear,
Things I once found important,
Were not why I was here.

And how many things,
That I managed to buy,
Were never what made me,
Feel better inside.

And the worries and fears,
That plagued me each day,
In the end of it all,
Would just fade away.

But how much I reached out,
To others when needed,
Would be the true measure,
Of how I succeeded.

And how much I shared,
Of my soul and my heart,
Would ultimately be,
What set me apart.

And what's really important,
Is my opinion of me,
And whether or not,
I'm the best I can be.

And how much more kindness,
And love I can show,
Before the Lord tells me,
It's my time to go.

Many of us have been left with no choice right now but to stay at home. While that might be hard for some of us, there are always worse things than having some extra time to binge-watch some of your favorite shows from your sofa, right? And really what better way to pass the time and make the most of the situation than watching some iconic ‘90s shows?  There’s, of course, no shortage of worthwhile things to watch right now, but honestly what could possibly be than an epic throwback to take you back to the good old days?

How about Sabrina the Teenage Witch? Remember that show? Of course, you do, because how could you possibly forget something so memorable. It’s the ideal combination of both fantasy and youth. While Melissa Joan Hart and her super sassy black cat can’t exactly help you save on your electricity bills right now with their magic, they surely can help add a magical touch to your life right now. And what about That ‘70s Show? Yes, it’s still considered a ‘90s classic, despite its name, since it first aired in 1998. It’s filled with heartfelt moments that will surely give you all the feels you need as you follow the lives of this group of six friends living in Wisconsin.  It’s also quite the experience to see Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher back in the day at the start of both their stardom and love story.

And last, but certainly not least, how about some Friends? There’s really nothing that says classic ‘90s than this iconic sitcom.  It’s probably the most binge-worthy show of all time and has the perfect dosage of both hilarious and emotional moments to keep us all going.  So what are you waiting for? These epic ‘90s throwback shows are here to help you make the most of your time at home and fill your heart with everything you could ever want.
