By Shel Silverstein

Lester was given a magic wish
By the goblin who lives in the banyan tree,
And with his wish he wished for two more wishes-
So now instead of just one wish, he cleverly had three.
And with each one of these
He simply wished for three more wishes,
Which gave him three old wishes, plus nine new.
And with each of these twelve
He slyly wished for three more wishes,
Which added up to forty-six -- or is it fifty-two?
Well anyway, he used each wish
To wish for wishes 'til he had
Five billion, seven million, eighteen thousand thirty-four.
And then he spread them on the ground
And clapped his hands and danced around
And skipped and sang, and then sat down
And wished for more.
And more...and more...they multiplied
While other people smiled and cried
And loved and reached and touched and felt.
Lester sat amid his wealth
Stacked mountain-high like stacks of gold,
Sat and counted -- and grew old.
And then one Thursday night they found him
Dead -- with his wishes piled around him.
And they counted the lot and found that not
A single one was missing.
All shiny and new -- here, take a few
And think of Lester as you do.
In a world of apples and kisses and shoes
He wasted his wishes on wishing.

Jennifer Aniston is the latest celebrity to delve into the world of beauty. Aniston is a woman of many trades. The famous and beautiful 52-year-old is an award-winning actress, pop-culture trendsetter, and now she is adding another title to the list: beauty aficionado. She recently announced the debut of her new haircare brand via Instagram, alluding that “something’s coming.” In this post, she tagged her new hair care company called LolaVie, which launched at the beginning of September. We obviously needed to find out everything we could about Aniston’s hair company because who wouldn’t want hair just like hers? Gorgeous waves, count me in!

Is there anything this woman can’t do? LolaVie applied for trademarks not only under hair care, but of face and body lotion, shower gel, and candles. The website, however, says that LolaVie is a haircare brand that uses science and natural ingredients. If you take a look at the “About” section of the website, it explains that Aniston’s “vision for LolaVie is to combine the best of science and nature. With this brand, she wants to prove that you don’t have to sacrifice one for the other.”  Additionally, the site mentions the products as being “effective, smart, and unfussy.” Seems like a dream to us. At the moment, the only available product is the Glossing Detangler, a lightweight spray to help detangle and protect your strands.

The Glossing Detangler, as well as future products, are vegan, cruelty-free, and are made without any harsh ingredients like parabens, silicones, sulfates phthalates, and gluten. Don’t worry if you don’t know those ingredients, it’s a good thing they aren’t in your products! We are just as excited for this brand as Aniston is. In her recent Instagram post introducing the brand, she said, “This project has been in the works for a long time and I’m so excited to finally be able to introduce it to you. So much hard work from our incredible team went into making this line…Our very first product releases today, but there’s so much more to come. In the meantime…Enjoy!” We can’t wait. There’s no doubt this brand will be a hit. Thanks, Jen!
