Mandy Moore is going to be a mom! The actress and singer announced earlier this week that she’s due with her first child in early 2021. The mom-to-be shared the baby’s sex and rough due date in the caption of adorable maternity photos alongside her husband, Taylor Goldsmith. “Baby Boy Goldsmith coming early 2021,” Mandy wrote on Instagram. Although the term “early” is vague, based on the timing of her announcement, plus the fact that it’s common to wait until the three-month mark to share the news, we’d guess Mandy Moore is likely due in late March or early April. The 36-year-old came to fame after releasing her song ‘Candy’ and then moved on to acting starring in films like A Walk to Remember. The announcement comes shortly after the actress began filming for This Is Us season five, which is expected to premiere in October. The actress and the Dawes frontman first went public in December 2015 and got engaged in September 2017 when Taylor Goldsmith asked her for her hands in her home. A year later, the couple got married during a small backyard wedding in November 2018.

Moore took to her Instagram Story to share with her fans that she’s been experiencing a “tough” first 15 weeks of pregnancy, including various “food aversions.” First, Moore said coffee was one of her “major food aversions” and it made her sad but relieved to hear from others that they had experienced the same thing during pregnancy. “Coffee’s not the only one. I don’t know about you, but I had the worst food aversions. I still can’t think about some things or look at them in the fridge,” she continued. “I had a really tough, like, first 15 weeks, I’d say.” She continued, “And poor Taylor. I was like, ‘Can you go outside and eat? I can’t look at food, I can’t smell food, I can’t think about food.'” Moore recalled.
