Nostalgic Apps
Although we most certainly love new technological upgrades, too often, our favorite childhood past times simply vanish into thin air. Many of the iconic classic programs that we once adored have become more glamorous and more fancy.
But for when you’re feeling super nostalgic, there are some apps you might want to download. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to swipe around on Tinder and stream music. You can pick and choose which parts of the ’90s to throwback.
For starters, there’s Nokia Composer. Although everyone on earth pretty much had a Nokia handset, only the coolest of kids knew how to use this programs. With the new app, you can relive your glory days and impress everyone with your ringtones.
Then of course, there’s the legendary Snake ’97 that required nothing more than some basic coordination. Since then, there’s been updated versions of the game, but the full experience means seeing every single pixelated segment of the snake’s body.
And probably the best yet? The Tamagotchi. It was the digital pet that taught us all how to deal with death. Although back in the day they were handheld devices, unrelated to phones, today they are available as smartphone pets, and it’s totally epic. Just make sure not to check on your pet during important business meetings.
