Back in the good old days, when we were kids, all we ever wanted in life was to take over our family’s computer. Yes, there was actually a time in our lives when we had to share a computer with others and didn’t have the luxury of having our own. And that computer sure as heck didn’t have high-speed internet at the time either. We also had far fewer needs online – and only really had hopes and dreams that we could play our favorite computer games for hours on end.
While today we obviously have endless games that we can easily and quickly access without fighting our siblings, on either our video-game consoles, laptops or even smart-phones, somehow, games these days simply aren’t the same as they once were, and we would do just about anything for a throwback and a nostalgic taste of those games we once lived for. Well, today is apparently your lucky day, because we’re about to share with you the fact that some of these old school games actually still exist and can still be played – offering the ultimate night in, without any friends needed.
For starters, there’s the Sims, which without a doubt was one of your favorite childhood games. The most recent addition to the series, The Sims 4 will allow you to create unique characters, taking your nostalgic memories to the next level. It can be played with Origin PC, Xbox One or Playstation 4 – and if you don’t have any of these fancy consoles, you can also download a simpler version of the same on the App Store or on Google Play. Neopets is also still allowing you to make your own virtual pets, and so is Club Penguin which is coming back after a heartbreaking pause in 2017 – offering all fans to play online for free!
