Pamela Anderson Launched A Vegan Bag Collection
Andrew Parker - July 3, 2020

Everyone’s favorite former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has recently teamed up with French fashion house Ashoka Paris to create a vegan four-bag collection. Ashoka Paris is a known humane fashion house; they’re even PETA approved vegan. Their website explains why they are a 100% vegan brand, including out of respect of animal life, the protection of the environment, and for the dignity and health of human beings around the world.  “Because animals are sensitive beings, because our ecosystem is in danger and humans are not spared, all our bags and accessories are eco, vegan and labeled PETA.” Well, now you have a whole new reason to go on an ethical shopping spree! The new collection features four bags available in red, terracotta, black, and nude shades. The collection has been designed by David Mateo, who worked with Pamela Anderson for almost 16 months to create the line. Ashoka Paris wrote, the line is “distinguished by its original, brushed and golden clasps, its embossed messages and its pop art lining.”

The new line of vegan bags was made using apple skins sourced from Italy. How cool is that? Ashoka Paris will donate a part of the proceeds to the Pamela Anderson Foundation which works to protect human rights, animals, and the environment for the past twenty-five years. In a statement, the brand added: “Working on this Vegan bag project with Pamela, a global celebrity and committed activist, is an honor and a fabulous experience. “Behind the star we discovered an intelligent, approachable, sincere and creative woman who is brimming with ideas and energy. It is this singularity that we have managed to express through this Pamela Anderson x Ashoka Paris collection.”
