Before the Kardashians rose to fame as the ‘it’ family of reality TV, Paris Hilton, together with her bestie Nicole Richie, on their 2000s series, ‘The Simple Life’, they made it the norm for rich socialites to behave badly.

Now that we are in the period where pretty much everything is being rebooted, the idea of a ‘Simple Life’ coming back was of course brought up. Apparently, there were even plans to bring it back, however it was turned down by Hilton.

Her reasoning?  Her schedule right now is simply too busy, as she has been both promoting and releasing new products and traveling around the world to no end.  Although some people may think that this is just a silly excuse to avoid a reboot, Paris surprisingly has a lot more products than we know, and that are sold across the globe.

Richie, who was a significant part of the show too, has been focusing in recent years of her TV acting career. So it seems as though a reboot of ‘The Simple Life’ will have to be kept on hold for one day in the future.

Hilton expresses that she was incredibly fond of the series, although she was never really who she is in real life, dumbing herself down.
