It Couldn't Be Done

By Edgar Guest

Somebody said that it couldn't be done But he with a chuckle replied That "maybe it couldn't," but he would be one Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it!

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that; At least no one ever has done it;" But he took off his coat and he took off his hat And the first thing we knew he'd begun it. With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done, There are thousands to prophesy failure, There are thousands to point out to you one by one, The dangers that wait to assail you. But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, Just take off your coat and go to it; Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing That "cannot be done," and you'll do it.

If you were fortunate enough to have grown up in the ’90s, then you surely remember the Saved by the Bell, the epic Saturday morning show.  It’s without argument of the best shows of it’s time, together with it’s classic theme song that we’ve still got stuck in our heads today.

If you were a fan of the show, then you of course know what The Max meant for the show, and you probably dreamed of eating there with the entire gang, right? Well, we’ve got good news for you! The Max is now opened in LA as a pop up restaurant, and is ever so fittingly called Saved by The Max.  It’s heaven on earth for anyone that loved the show.

It’s got tons of little details that make it feel like you’re really back in the show. Each of the characters have their own lockers, and Zack’s has even got his brick cellphone.  Jessie’s has got some empty caffeine pill bottles of course.  There’s even a section filled with props and memorabilia from the show.  You can even eat in Mr. Belding’s office if The Max isn’t up your alley.

The food is also incredible, with drool-worthy fried chicken, Bayside burgers, and Beat Valley Buttermilk Pancakes, filled with bacon, banana, peanut butter and whipped cream.
