We all know that Selena Gomez has been incredibly talented since day one. A recent video that her mother (Mandy Teefey) shared prove this in the cutest way possible.   It’s very clear that Gomez has also had it in her.

The video, which was taken in August 1997, the little Gomez is on the phone with her mother, describing to her how her day at school was. It doesn’t sound like a very good day, especially not based on her facial expressions, and it’s hard to believe that it’s not a performance so it’s so perfectly perfect.

Tons of fans have commented on Teefey’s Instagram video about how sweet and adorable it is.  No wonder Gomez became such a successful star, with her passion and dedication to acting so evident.

In the Disney Channel audition video, Gomez reads a scene about stealing a goat, with hand gestures and eye rolls that are spot on and full of sass.
