Sonic’s Double Stuf Oreo Waffle Cone With Oreo Creme Drizzle Is Ice Cream Dreams
Claire Miles - February 27, 2019

Some people say money can’t buy happiness. Well, these people have never tried spending their money on sweet ice cream! Thanks to Sonic Drive-In, now you can buy happiness in a chocolate cone. Sonic’s Double Stuf Oreo Waffle cone has stepped up the restaurant’s game. So go put on your stretch pants, foodies, because our hearts and mouths are ready for some ooey-gooey goodness.

The beautiful ice cream cone actually was in Sonic restaurants last fall and then, like the rest of us, went into hibernation during the winter. Now they’ve arrived again just in time for spring. Sonic announced their return on Twitter and people were excited.

So what’s in this dream cone? Sonic ice cream with Oreo chunks and sweet creme filling drizzled all over all stuffed into a chocolate cookie waffle cone that is layered in Oreo cream. Just reading those words together is drool-worthy. And for just $2.49, this humble cone is stepping up the game.

If you’re in the mood for something warm, Sonic also offers Oreo A La Mode which is the dessert of cookie lover’s dreams. It’s made with Oreo cookies, “perfectly battered and friend to create a delectably crunchy and dippable treat served with SONIC’s famous Real Ice Cream.”

And if you’re just a huge Oreo fan looking to get that sweet cookie fix, there are tons of options out there for you. There are new Game of Thrones-themed Oreos, Oreo lip balm, Oreo Eggs for Easter time, and Oreo Sticks and Dips for treats on the go (think Dunkaroos from your childhood days). Make sure to head on over to the drive-thru for your Oreo fix- this is the last time it will be offered at Sonic and only for a limited time.
