Hands up, how many of us have been staring in the refrigerator trying to wish a delicious snack into existence? Same. The good news is that there is a new snack hitting food store shelves! Introducing the new Sour Patch Kids-flavored cookies from Chips Ahoy! The limited-edition treats are one of three new Chips Ahoy! flavors to debut this year. The other two flavors stick to traditional flavors: made with Hershey’s milk chocolate and the other made with Reese’s mini peanut butter pieces. There’s a chance you’re going to either love or hate these sweet and sour treats! Instagram user @ericlewis91 said they’re “delicious,” describing them as “a regular rainbow chip cookie but with a soft sour chew.”
The cookies will officially become available at retailers nationwide starting in May, for just $3 a box. So basically they’re cookies with sour gummy bits and chocolate chip nibs. The cookie reportedly smells like lemon cookies and fruity cereal. An interesting combination for sure! Sure, Sour Patch Kids and Chips Ahoy! cookies are two of the best and most popular snacks, but a lot of people are saying they’d probably prefer to eat them separately. But hey, to each their own, right?
