Starbucks Just Released 3 New Non-Dairy Drink Options
Claire Miles - January 14, 2020

More likely than not, each of us knows someone (or is that someone) who is either lactose intolerant or vegan. Luckily, now more than ever, restaurants and cafes are adding non-dairy, more sustainable choices to their menu. Starbucks has jumped on the sustainable wagon by adding two new non-dairy drink options to its permanent menu. The coffee chain announced it’s now offering an Almondmilk Honey Flat White and a Coconutmilk Latte nationwide.

In addition, Starbucks locations in the Midwest are getting a new non-dairy beverage, the Oatmilk Honey Latte. Yes, finally oat milk is now available at select locations for the first time. This is very exciting news people!

Though almond milk has been in Starbucks since 2016, there is now a new drink dedicated for almond milk lovers. The Almondmilk Honey Flat White is made by combining a ristretto shot of Starbucks Blonde Espresso with steamed almond milk and a hint of honey. Basically, its a sweet twist on a classic flat white. Absolute perfection!

The Coconutmilk Latte seriously looks nuts (get it?). Coconut milk was added to Starbucks in 2015, but now it’s getting its time in the spotlight with its own permanent menu drink. The new Coconutmilk Latte is made with a shot of Starbucks Blonde Espresso and steamed coconut milk. The beverage is finished with a bit of Cascara sugar to add some brown sugar and maple flavors.

And finally we come to the Oatmilk Honey Latte. It’s made with a shot of Starbucks Blonde Espresso, honey, steamed oat milk, and a Toasted Honey topping.

Now all you have to do is remember to bring your reusable cup!
