Taco Bell introduced Nacho Fries back in 2017, but sadly, they disappeared after the initial launch. Luckily, Nacho Fries are making a second nationwide return at just the perfect time: for Christmas Eve! For those of you who are unfamiliar, Nacho Fries combine fries and nacho cheese together magnificently. The fast-food restaurant will offer the Nacho Fries on December 24th for $1 or for a $5 box meal, which includes a Beefy Five-Layer Burrito, a Crunchy Taco, and a medium drink. Taco Bell is offering their Nacho Fries just for a limited time only. These Nacho Fries feature french fries made with “bold Mexican seasoning” served alongside “a dippable side of warm nacho cheese,” according to the taco chain. So make sure you order extras during your next Taco Bell run because you won’t want to share.
Taco Bell first tested Nacho Fries in Irvine, California, and they’ve popped back onto menus at least once a year, sometimes twice, since 2018. If you missed out on this cheesy concoction the first few times around, you’ll soon have another chance to try it (and another excuse to plan a Taco Bell run during the week). This might be the best (and cheesiest) news you’ll hear all day! In other exciting Taco Bell news, be sure to try their Dragonfruit Freeze. The tropical drink was added to Taco Bell’s new menu rollout just two months ago. The beverage looks like it belongs to social media with its perfectly swirled pink dragonfruit syrup. The tropical drink is available in a regular cup for $2 and a large cup for $3, but you can also score a Dragonfruit Freeze for just $1 during the chain’s Happier Hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily at certain locations.
Taco Bell is known for its epic slushies, just like the time they added the special Baja Blast Birthday Freeze and the Sour Strawberry Skittles Freeze to its menu. The latter beverage is a twist on the taco chain’s existing Strawberry Skittle Freeze with an infusion of strawberry candy with the sour and sweet flavor of real Skittles.
