As we just reported the other day, Taylor Swift just recently released her surprise second album Evermore. Chances are you have been listening to the sister album to Folklore on repeat for days now. And now many Taylor Swift fans believe she is going to release a third secret album called Woodvale– and there’s quite a bit of evidence to back them up. Fans became convinced there’s more music to come after they discovered a possible Easter egg in the Folklore deluxe CD set. In fact, they believe Folklore and Evermore are part of an album trilogy. In the black-and-white image, the word Woodvale seems to be hidden in the trees.
Taylor Swift is known for leaving little Easter eggs for her fans. Though Swifties have not always been right about every theory, many have turned out to be correct. For example, when Swift confirmed Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ third daughter’s name is Betty. If this is true, it looks like Swift is trying to tell fans something. When Swift announced Evermore, she admitted that she couldn’t stop writing in quarantine. “To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs,” she tweeted. “To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in.”
The pop star also told Apple Music, “When I put out Folklore I remember just feeling so proud and happy but still like foot on the gas, like ‘Let’s keep going—this is fun—I’m not finished with this’ and everybody, all my collaborators, we all felt the same way about it so we just kept going.” As one fan pointed out, Swift released Evermore exactly 20 weeks after Folklore, so if the rumors are true, we should probably expect Woodvale to be released on March 25, 2021.
