It Couldn't Be Done

By Edgar Guest

Somebody said that it couldn't be done But he with a chuckle replied That "maybe it couldn't," but he would be one Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it!

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that; At least no one ever has done it;" But he took off his coat and he took off his hat And the first thing we knew he'd begun it. With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin, Without any doubting or quiddit, He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn't be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done, There are thousands to prophesy failure, There are thousands to point out to you one by one, The dangers that wait to assail you. But just buckle in with a bit of a grin, Just take off your coat and go to it; Just start in to sing as you tackle the thing That "cannot be done," and you'll do it.

We can’t believe that Victoria and David Beckham has been married already for an impressive 19 years, but it’s true! They recently just celebrated their anniversary, both sharing pictures on their Instagram accounts of their festivities together honoring their many years of unconditional love for each other.

They got married on July 4th, 1999 in front of all of their closest celebrity friends, as well as the Spice Girls of course.  Since then, they’ve had four beautiful children, and have pretty much taken over both the U.K and the U.S, with their successful careers in football, fashion and singing.

David shared a picture of the couple sharing some wine at a restaurant terrace, looking as chill as ever. Despite the relaxed vibes, David couldn’t help himself from bringing in some nostalgia into his caption, referring to his unique ’90s fashion choices, that left him dressed head to toe in purple on his wedding day.

Victoria posted the same picture on her account, however it seems as though she preferred her ’90s style to be kept more on the down low, without any mention of it. Either way, congrats to the smashing couple on a beautiful marriage.
