The announcement by The Nederlander Organization came six weeks before opening night which was set for April 30th at Chicago’s James M. Nederlander Theatre. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the production has been postponed. The news comes as no surprise as all other shows have been temporarily shut down due to COVID-19, including all Broadway, off-Broadway, and West End productions. Keone and Mari Madrid were set to direct and choreograph Once Upon a One More Time, which is a fresh take on classic fairy tales featuring a book by Jon Hartmere.
