Toy Story 4 is set to be released in just a few days, and is intended to be the film to end the iconic and legendary series. But that’s something we’ve heard before, like when Toy Story 3 came out back in 2010. So the question is: will this actually be the end, or will we be seeing a fifth in just a matter of time? Believe it or not, no one has officially made it clear, and we shouldn’t rule out the option of a fifth.
Based on what we’ve heard about the film so far however, it does seem as though Toy Story 4 may very well be marking it’s end, unfortunately. Tom Hanks, who plays Woody actually straight up told Ellen Degeneres on her talk show that it was to be the last, and that the ending would be real emotional.
Tim Allen, who plays Buzz Lightyear has also talked about the end of the film on TV with Jimmy Fallon. While his comments were less direct than Hanks, he still made some comments that hinted that it’s going in that direction.
So with both of these stars sharing this information with the public, it’s safe to assume that this time around will really be the end, despite not being told anything official just yet. Nonetheless, our fingers are still crossed that our favorite group of plastic friends will come back strong when we least expect it.
