The Full House Parody
Claire Miles - April 23, 2020

The crew of our beloved and nostalgic Full House had decided to take both a serious, yet of course comedic (because what else would they really do?) stance to quarantine, and it’s something that shouldn’t be missed at all costs. All of our favorite and familiar faces from the iconic ‘90s show have come together to create an epic parody of their original theme song entitled ‘Full Quarantine’. Not only is it the ultimate throwback that you surely need right now, but it’s also the perfect dose of inspiration we all need to continue to stay home.

John Stamos posted the exciting parody on April 8th to Instagram, captioning it, “#fullquarantine Stayhome/Staysafe/Stamos Unlike #FullHouse, this will go away.”  The hilarious parody that the Full House crew put together touches on some of the harsh realities of staying home alone, while also relating to some Full House themes.   The video starts out with a short clip of the original Full House intro, including, of course, the theme song.  After we see that Golden Gate Bridge, we then see John Stamos in the bathroom, attempting to get whatever is left in his pretty much empty bottle of hair gel.  As he notices the camera, he stops and smiles – touching on the fact that Uncle Jesse (played by Stamos) is totally fixated on always having the perfect hair.

The parody then turns to Bob Saget – or better known as Danny Tanner. He’s seen trying to squeeze out the last bit of hand sanitizer, rubbing it all over his face as though it’s aftershave. He’s also seen trying to sanitize a mop handle, depicting the fact that he’s always been up-tight about cleaning.  Saget actually recently Tweeted throughout his time stuck at home that he’s becoming the character of Danny Tanner – constantly cleaning and sanitizing everything he can possibly get his hands on at home.
