Have You Earned Your Tomorrow

By Edgar Guest

Is anybody happier because you passed his way? Does anyone remember that you spoke to him today? This day is almost over, and its toiling time is through; Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word of you?

Did you give a cheerful greeting to the friend who came along? Or a churlish sort of "Howdy" and then vanish in the throng? Were you selfish pure and simple as you rushed along the way, Or is someone mighty grateful for a deed you did today?

Can you say tonight, in parting with the day that's slipping fast, That you helped a single brother of the many that you passed? Is a single heart rejoicing over what you did or said; Does a man whose hopes were fading now with courage look ahead?

Did you waste the day, or lose it, was it well or sorely spent? Did you leave a trail of kindness or a scar of discontent? As you close your eyes in slumber do you think that God would say, You have earned one more tomorrow by the work you did today?

Style is often not given enough importance, primarily because its true meaning is not known to many people. They tend to confuse style with fashion, limiting the definition of style to clothes, shoes, and bags. Even though style does include clothes and the latest trends it goes beyond it as well and tends to reflect the personality of an individual. Style is something through which you can create an impression on someone in minutes.

Style helps people to express themselves, it has a unique aspect attached to it. Everyone has a distinctive style of their own because their style expresses their own beliefs and mindset. When someone meets you for the first time the first thing they tend to notice is what you are wearing, and how well you are carrying your clothes and hair, and tend to judge your character through such things. How you present yourself in front of an individual says a lot about you as a person, and someone new notices all the details and tries to get an idea of your personality through these details. Your style is an attempt to create an image for yourself, and how you want others to perceive you. It should be reflective of who you are as a person.

Style helps to increase your self-confidence as well. When you like the clothes you are wearing, your hair, and your overall look you automatically feel more confident about yourself and start to feel good about yourself. You can also specifically choose clothes that make you look good and make you feel confident about yourself. Moreover, to ensure that your style is unique, you can add something special to it, which helps to make you stand out from those around you. Style is a way to create an impression on those around you without having to say anything.
