October 2019 is the year where will once again get to join the Addams family in their creepy home, and we couldn’t possibly be more excited. Now even more so that we know who will be starring in it.
The Addams family has been a legendary staple throughout television and movies ever since their big debut in 1938 in The New Yorker. They became a live-action TV show during the 60s, and eventually were turned into a few movies.
There’s been several version throughout the years, but we all surely all remember the classic ones from the 90s The Addams Family and Addams Family Values. Many of the actors were nominated for Golden Globes as well as Hugo Awards. Following these movies, an animated series came about, as well as a live-action series, but since then nothing new has come out.
In October of 2013 it was revealed that MGM decided to make a movie written by Pamela Pettler, and we’ve finally found out the big stars who will be playing the Addams family.
Oscar Issac will be playing Gomez, and we’ve got no doubt that he will perfectly voice him. The iconic Charlize Theron will be playing the role of Morticia, Chloe Grace Moretz will be playing the epic Wednesday Addams, and will surely do an awesome job of taking over Wednesday’s morbid attitude.
Finn Wolfhard, one of the latest rising stars in Hollywood, will be taking the role of Pugsley. The one and only Uncle Fester will be played by Nick Kroll, since he’s always the goofy one. Bette Midler will be playing Grandmama and it’s seriously amazing. And last but not least, Allison Janney whose done a lot of voice acting, will be playing Margaux Needler.
