Update: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal Baby
Andrew Parker - February 10, 2019

With the cold weather we’ve been having this winter, everyone is ready for spring. The royal family have another reason to get excited for spring this year. As you probably already know, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are pregnant with their first baby. Since the announcement from Kensington Palace in October, the world has been speculating the baby’s name, gender- any bit of information really. So we collected all the information out there on Baby Sussex.

It seems as though Meghan Markle and Prince Harry don’t even know the exact name of Baby Sussex yet. It’s been reported that they have a “long list” of baby names, so we’ll just have to wait till Meghan gives birth this spring. Until then, the soon-to-be-parents have nicknamed their baby their “little bump.” So adorable!

Per royal tradition, Meghan and Prince Harry will wait until the birth to learn Baby Sussex’s sex. Myka Meier, founder of Beaumont Etiquette said, “Besides the people in the delivery room, it’s tradition that the queen is first to be told of the new arrival via phone call. While there are many royal baby traditions that have been broken in recent generations- such as Princess Diana being the first to birth a royal baby outside of a palace and, instead, in a hospital- saving sex reveal for the day of birth is likely one that will stay for generations to come.” It’s been reported that Meghan might also break from tradition and give birth in London’s St. Mary’s Hospital, where Kate Middleton gave birth to all three of her children.

Reporters following the royal’s closely heard Meghan Markle tell her fans that the baby is due in late April or early May. Spring can’t come fast enough!
