Valentine’s Day Inspired Food and Drinks
Andrew Parker - February 7, 2021

Whether you celebrate with a significant other or solo, a huge part of Valentine’s Day is to enjoy some festively themed food. And Dunkin’ Donuts has once again set the bar this year by bringing back their popular pink velvet macchiato, which first debuted on their Valentine’s Day menu in 2020. And trust us when we say it truly lives up to the hype. According to Dunkin’ Donuts’ website, the pink velvet macchiato combines “rich espresso with red velvet cake flavor and hints of smooth cream cheese icing.” Thanks to the pink color of the syrup, the drink is very aesthetically pleasing and totally deserves to be pictured on your Instagram Story.

The drink is pink, creamy syrup on the bottom, and espresso on top. You can get the drink hot or iced. You might get hints of cake and frosting, and overall, it’s a unique flavor that can’t easily be compared to others. The sweetness does contrast nicely with the bitterness of the coffee, and altogether has a smooth, cohesive taste, but it is sugary, so make sure you have a sweet tooth before ordering one.

After you’ve gotten your coffee fix taken care of, might we suggest checking out Kraft’s newest creation? Spice up your Valentine’s Day with Kraft’s Candy Mac & Cheese. And in case you were wondering, yes, the macaroni is a bright shade of pink. Described as the classic Kraft mac and cheese with an additional packet that has “hints of sweet candy flavor,” the limited-edition pasta is certainly an unexpected choice.  Starting January 27 through February 8, you can enter for a chance to win your own Candy Mac and Cheese at CandyKraftMacandCheese.com, and a thousand lucky winners will receive their treats by February 14, just in time for the romantic holiday. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
