Happiness Is Fun

By Pauline Oliver

Happy is as happy does
When all is said and done
Truly being happy
Starts with having fun

Set those happiness endorphins free
To flood your stressed out brain
With lots of happy thoughts
To relax and ease the strain
Eat chocolate
And laugh-a-lot

Chew chilis hot and red
Wear bright colours instead

Keep a dog or a cat
Try yoga on a mat

Feel sunshine warm your being
Seek beauty for the seeing

Classical music wins by miles
Exchanging lots of smiles

That's how to raise your spirit
Lift your body and your mind
This daily dose of happiness
Is a pleasure - you will find.

Zendaya is an Emmy nominee! The 23-year-old actress received her first nominee for her role as Rue in HBO’s Euphoria, making her an “outstanding lead actress in a drama series” contender. Her reaction was totally Zendaya. “I’m honestly speechless, my heart is just overflowing with love and gratitude,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so incredibly honored to work beside the talented people that I get to call family. I am a small piece of a big beautiful puzzle and I’m so proud of all of you.” She continued by thanking the essential people behind the scenes who’ve made the series’ first season possible. “Thank you to everyone out there who’s watched and given our show life, thank you @samlev00 @hbo @a24 for everything and @televisionacad for this beautiful acknowledgment, thank you, thank you, thank you,” she continued. “We out here Emmy nominated y’all!!”
